NeuroPsyAI is a company co-founded, in 2017, as a spin-off of our lab, and Dr Hugo Ferreira’s lab, at Instituto de Biofísica e Engenharia Biomédica (IBEB-FCUL).
It has been awarded a series of prizes and distinctions, including the AI in Healthcare for Radiology Philips Acceleration Program 2018 selection (19 in 750 worldwide), an SME Instrument Phase I (Horizon 2020) Grant from the European Commission, and EIT Health Catapult 2nd Prize in Digital Health and EI Health Headstart award 2018 from the European Institute of Innovation & Technology, the Caixa Empreendedor 1st Prize 2018 from BPI and La Caixa, the Top 5 Distinction at AI Rising Stars 2018 competition by the Founders Factory London, the “Best of Portugal” 1st Prize in Software by the Exame Informática magazine, among others.
